What Should I Expect?
You will meet with Dr. Jett on your first visit and have a chance to learn more about the current state of your periodontal health after your evaluation. Enjoy a cup of Starbucks coffee on us from the coffee machine in our waiting area and look forward to meeting our friendly staff.
Your Consultation
Your first visit will typically include a review of your medical and dental health history, and a comprehensive oral exam to determine whether you have or you are at risk for developing periodontal disease. Please be prepared to complete insurance and health insurance forms before we begin the exam.
High-Tech Periodontist Office
Our modern periodontist office is equipped with high-tech equipment and advanced technologies, including digital X-rays and the VaTech Cone Beam system. We can perform a number of advanced procedures using digital technology, including laser dentistry, gum grafting procedures, and some periodontal treatments.
How Long is My First Visit?
The length of your first visit will depend on whether you are getting any dental treatments and other services in addition to the comprehensive exam; in most cases, it will last 30 minutes to an hour. We can provide an estimated time before your appointment.

What to Bring to Your First Appointment
We are delighted to welcome you to our practice and are pleased that you chose us to serve your dental needs. Our goal is to help you feel and look the very best through excellent dental care.
Your appointment will take approximately 45 minutes. The initial exam fee is $218.00. We are an In-Network provider to Delta Dental Insurance Company. We will be happy to bill all insurance companies on your behalf. If you have any concerns with coverage, call your customer service number on the insurance card. To help assist you with the phone call, the dental billing codes are as follows: D0180 Comprehensive Periodontal Evaluation and D0330 Panorex X-ray. To facilitate being seen just as soon as possible at the time of your appointment, we would appreciate it if you would complete the enclosed Patient Information Form before your arrival. Please remember to bring it with you at the time of your appointment.
If you are unable to make the appointment you have scheduled with us, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. In the meantime, we look forward to meeting you and serving your needs.
